Taekwondo is a martial art that develops explosive power, incredible flexibility, and unshakeable confidence while teaching effective striking techniques and self-defence skills that can protect you when it matters most.
Taekwondo is the perfect blend of athleticism and artistry and is known for its kicks, lightning-fast combinations, and precise techniques.
TKD builds physical prowess and mental discipline at your own pace. Younger students develop coordination and focus alongside adults who are building strength and flexibility.

Taekwondo is a martial arts technique that was developed in Korea. Taekwondo translates to "the way of foot and fist."
The focus is on powerful kicks, fast-paced movements, and strong mental discipline. Unlike many martial arts that focus equally on hand and foot techniques, TKD is renowned for its kicking techniques, including head-level kicks, spinning kicks, and jumping kicks.
Taekwondo dates back over 2,000 years to Korea's Three Kingdoms period (57 BCE to 668 CE), with early techniques like "Taekkyon."
After World War II, a modern version was developed when Korean martial artists, led by General Choi Hong Hi, formalized it as a structured discipline in 1955.
